Sandy Westin served as the North American Regional Coordinator of the The United Religions Initiative or URI from July 2009 through December 2011. The United Religions Initiative seeks

“to promote enduring, daily interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence and to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all living beings.”

A chapter or cooperation circle of URI is active in the Tri-Cities.  Ms. Westin talks with me about the United Religion Initiative’s work around the world and in our neighborhood.
